Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest check out Austin Dillon's hot wife YouTube/LIVEKellyandRyan

Daytona 500 winner Austin Dillon is still riding high, not over just his big win but also his big wedding last December to the gorgeous Whitney Ward.

“There’s my smokin’ hot wife,” Austin told Ryan Seacrest and Kelly Ripa on the set of “Live with Kelly and Ryan” on Feb. 20 when asked about his Daytona 500 championship ring on one hand and his wedding ring on the other. “We just got married.”

Indeed, Whitney was a focus of much of the post-Daytona 500 interview, with Austin recalling the crazy moment the newlyweds shared just hours before the Feb. 18 race. “We had a group prayer,” Austin told the talk show hosts. “Whitney cried halfway through it and I was like, ‘Why did you start crying?’ and she got mad at me. I hated to start my Daytona 500 day off on the wrong foot.”

Austin said he went to the back of their motor coach where Whitney was still crying, telling Austin that she was emotional because she cares about him so much. He went on to share the crazy premonition that she had about the race to come. “She said, ‘I don’t think today is going to be pretty, and I don’t think you are going to lead a lot of laps or to be out front. I think you are going to win it when it gets clutch and you lead the last lap.’”

Heck, is Whitney a fortune teller? She was right on!

Austin also discussed his new booty tattoo that he got shortly after he came home with the checkered flag. “It was a heck of a party,” Austin told the live studio audience. “I ended up getting a tattoo.”

Of course, Ryan wanted to know where the tattoo was.

“Ummm, I’m sitting on it,” Austin laughed.

“Whitney, did you get one too?” Kelly asked, to which Whitney quickly answered no. “She says you can’t put a bumper sticker on a Ferrari,” Austin joked,
