“Our thoughts are with the Wright family, and everyone who knew Adam,” Dale Jr. tweeted out on August 24 along with a video tribute to his beloved JR Motorsports team member showing him on the track, in the garage and at the JR Motorsports headquarters.

Dale Jr.s sister, Kelley, also reacted to the death, sending along her own heartfelt message on Twitter. “Our JRM family lost a really great guy this past week,” she wrote on August 24. “Adam was a friend to many. RIP.”

We send our heartfelt condolences to all who mourn the death of Adam.
