Dale writes to Amy, “You saved me. Changed me. I’ll never be able to repay you for the life you have given me. Nothing is more beautiful. Nothing is more important. Happy Anniversary my love.”

Wow. Now, that’s enough to warm anyone’s heart this winter.

Dale’s fans were touched to see this tender message, too. One Instagram user writes, “Beautiful, amazing to hear someone feel that way. Happy Blessed Anniversary.”

Another comment brought up how proud Dale’s late father would be that his son has found such lasting love.

It says, “Happy Anniversary! I am so happy you found the love of your life! Your Daddy is proud of you.”

Dale did a little bit more to make his first anniversary with Amy memorable, though. He just posted this breathtaking photo of the Rocky Mountains showing us the view they enjoyed on a trip to Aspen, Colorado.

Dale writes, “Took the wife to Aspen for a week. Great community. You know you gotta make that [first] anniversary memorable.

It helps that Dale has such good friends who can show him the ropes in Aspen, too. He adds, “@JimmieJohnson and his fam/friends showed us all the thrills.”

One of those thrills was seeing rock band Jane’s Addiction as they rang in the New Year. Dale posted this video showing his prime spot of the small show at the Belly Up music venue in Aspen.

Dale looked to get one more trip down the slopes before heading back home. He admitted to being a little bit homesick during the trip.

A lot of work awaits Dale once he gets back to work this year. On top of awaiting the arrival of their little bundle of joy, Dale and Amy are also working on a new renovation show coming to the DIY Network soon.

Dale’s also taking his fitness very seriously in the new year. He tweeted to one fan that he plans to continue cycling about 50 to 100 miles a week throughout 2018.

Happy anniversary and happy New Year you two!
