A NASCAR cancer warrior takes a break from treatments for one special night Twitter/@SherryPollex

Life has certainly thrown many challenges at NASCAR star Martin Truex Jr.’s longtime girlfriend Sherry Pollex. As many fans know, Sherry was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer in 2014 and, earlier this year, she shared that the cancer was back and that she would once again have to go under the knife. It seems just too much for such a beautiful young woman to have to handle.

But Sherry is a warrior.

And warriors don’t give up.

That’s exactly what Sherry and Martin did on August 3, when she shared a series of pics of their fun night at a Florida Georgia Line concert. “Having a blast at the @FLAGALine concert,” she wrote on her socials. “They put on a hell of a show with Nelly.”

Another friend shared a pic of the whole happy group backstage.

It does our heart good to see Sherry looking great and having an amazing time.
