“Healthy baby boy,” former NASCAR racer and current broadcaster Kenny Wallace tweeted out on the occasion of his grandson’s birth on Oct. 12, alongside a picture of the adorable little one and his adoring parents. He added, “7.6lbs and 21” long. His name is ‘Jett’ and he is already FAST!!”

The proud grandpa couldn’t help but share other pics of the baby, including one with the brand new mommy and aunt. “I asked permission to share this picture and they said yes,” Kenny wrote on his Twitter feed. “Two of our three daughters. This is all @KimWallace_36 and I can ask for. #2sisters”

Kenny also took the time to thank his NASCAR family for all the well-wishes he has received on the occasion of adding “grandpa” to his resume.

Yet, like any hard racer, Kenny won’t have much time to bask in his new title, as he will be headed to Talledega Superspeedway to broadcast as part of the “NASCAR on Fox” team during the upcoming Alabama 500 race on Oct. 15.
