If you couldn’t wait for Chris Stapleton’s new album, good news: you don’t have to wait and you shouldn’t, because this latest track is already blowing our minds.

The Grammy-winning country star just posted another audio track to his YouTube page, this one featuring  a new song called “Scarecrow In The Garden” from his forthcoming project, “From A Room: Volume 2.” Two weeks ago, he gave us another song from the set, titled “Millionaire.” Listen to that one below.

“Scarecrow In The Garden” is a good old-fashioned story song about family and loyalty, with just enough mystery to keep you scratching your head.

Just what is going on here?

Here’s what we can gather: a grandson is reflecting on his family’s journey to America, the generations, their legacy and their triumphs and struggles as time goes on and the world changes.

But that doesn’t answer the question of the scarecrow: is that sucker cursed?

The last line of the song will give you chills and definitely make you wonder.

Go listen right now. What do y’all think?

“From A Room: Volume 2” is due out Dec. 1.
