Country singer Chris Lane believes in the power of prayer, as you can tell from this recent Instagram post. It reads, “I’m asking everybody to keep my wife in your prayers, she hasn’t found me yet.”

The single country star obviously has a big sense of humor, since this is just one of the many memes he posts on his Insta account. Still, the response to this particular post was pretty overwhelming.

Chris tells Rare Country, “I guess people … connected with that, ’cause there a lot of comments, and a lot of feedback on that one.”

There were quite a few women volunteering for the job of Mrs. Chris Lane, too.

“I will say, I got a lot of direct messages from posting that,” Chris says. “So, maybe I’ll find my wife. I’ll find her on Instagram!”

It’s no wonder the ladies are lining up for a shot at walking down the aisle with Chris. Have you seen this shot?

All those women hitting up Chris on Insta would do well to listen hard to his latest single, “Take Back Home Girl,” featuring Tori Kelly. In the lyrics, he basically lays out the kind of relationship he’s looking for. Pay close attention to the second verse about spending time under the stadium lights in a small town.

Chris tells us, “What I originally loved lyrically about this song is it takes me back to so many happy memories of my life, like that Friday night football kind of feel. It paints a little bit of that picture in the second verse. I love everything about this song, but this verse really hits home with me.”

Chris feels incredibly lucky to have pop star Tori singing with him on “Take Back Home Girl,” too. In fact, he was floored when she agreed to join him on the song.

“I’ve been a big fan of Tori’s for awhile,” Chris says. “We were looking for a feature on the song. My label asked me, ‘Who would be a dream collaboration for you,’ and I said Tori Kelly first. I didn’t know if she would actually do it or not, but she heard the song, she loved it, and I’m so thankful for that, ’cause she’s amazing.”

The two singers’ natural chemistry jumps off the screen in the music video, too.

Says Chris, “She did great in the video. She’s super sweet, so genuine and has such a good heart. I feel like it made for such a good combo.”

Chris is currently burning up the road on his “Take Back Home Tour.” Go to for dates.
