Sadie Robertson is a young woman of many talents.

After rising to fame on the reality TV shows “Duck Dynasty,” and then “Dancing With the Stars,” Sadie is currently launching her second book, “Live Fearless: A Call to Power, Passion, and Purpose,” in which she shares how her faith helped her face and conquer fear in her life. She’s also keeping up a full slate of speaking engagements, and will further share her message on her own “Live Original Tour,” which will kick off this fall.

Sadie has also done a little acting, and she showed off her on-camera talent most recently by co-starring in Brett Eldredge’s video for “The Long Way.”

Since it’s a love song, Sadie and Brett played out some romantic scenarios in the video. That got people wondering if there might be more to that on-camera chemistry between the two of them.

Sadie tells Rare Country, “It was so funny because the internet exploded. They’re like, ‘Are you and Brett dating?’ I’m like, ‘No, we are not dating.’ We just, like, are the most goofy people in the whole world, so we just became really great friends.”

We asked Brett about casting Sadie as his co-star in the video last November, and he told us he had her in mind for the role from the beginning.

Brett said, “I saw Sadie’s Instagram posts and her social media, and [she] just kept popping up on my Instagram. She captures everything that this song is about. She’s that girl that everybody loves. She’s got the heart. She’s got the soul. She’s an amazing person.”

Brett was very excited when Sadie said yes to being in the video. He added, “She just did an incredible job, and I got a new friend out of it. She’s awesome.”

Sadie tells us she was flattered to get the offer from Brett and his team.

“That was so unexpected but so fun,” she says. “I was like, ‘That’s so sweet that they wanted [someone like me].’ I was like, ‘That is really cute.’”

Sadie has also appeared in a few films in the past few years, but for now acting is on the back burner.

She tells us, “Right now, my heart is so on this book and on the tour and the conferences and really just being face-to-face with these people and really pouring into them with truth. So, if acting came up — if an opportunity came, I would love to say yes. Just like the Brett thing. It was one of those things that they reached out to me, and I was like, ‘Absolutely.’ But it’s something right now that I don’t have time to really pursue or dive into.”

we are trying to belong to a world we were never called to belong to and that is why we feel less than worthy of the call God has put on us. Many of you feel worthless or have spoken that over yourself and that is a straight up LIE. It’s not that any one of you is worthless, but the reason sometimes i think we feel like is because we are participating in worthless and unproductive things of the world instead of stepping up to the call acting with integrity, moral courage, and Godly character THEN you will be walking in the destiny your life as a daughter and a son of a King has purposed to be. You feel like you haven’t found your purpose? Stop looking around… look within and start believing who you belong to and you will began to see yourself become the things that you were always called to step into. A person of confidence, of beauty, of inner peace, of abundant joy, of strength, of courage, and of freedom. You won’t find it from the world, but you will find it when you just believe that you belong (not to the world), but to a kingdom in which you will lack no good thing. “Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and godly character];” ‭‭EPHESIANS‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭AMP‬‬ #livefearless @liveoriginal
