One of country’s hottest new bands release a new love jam we can’t resist YouTube/LANCOVEVO

We couldn’t be more excited to have LANCO perform at our first-ever Rare Country Awards livestream concert event on Dec. 14, and this new music video from them will get you all fired up for their performance, too.

On the heels of their No. 1 hit, “Greatest Love Story,” LANCO has released this performance clip for “Born to Love You.” The song appears on the band’s upcoming debut album, “Hallelujah Nights,” and it also provides a bridge from the laid-back vibe of that first hit to the more energetic moments in LANCO’s musical repertoire and live show.

For a full taste of what to expect on “Hallelujah Nights,” check out this performance trailer for the new project. It starts off with “Greatest Love Story,” but then segues seamlessly into “Born to Love You” and several other songs on the project, including some rocking numbers and even a gospel-inspired track featuring a full choir.

It’s quite a tour-de-force, and a good indication of the variety you’ll find on LANCO’s debut project, due out Jan. 19.

Lead singer and chief songwriter Brandon Lancaster tells Rare Country, “It’s a very uptempo album. It’s very anthemic. ‘Greatest Love Story’ is a story, and it kind of explores … the ups and downs of a relationship. But the album explores all parts of life, from being broke, to finding love, to questioning life to all these things.”

“Hallelujah Nights” will also introduce fans to the rowdier side of LANCO’s music. If you go see them live, you’ll soon discover this band knows how to capture an audience’s attention and hold it.

“We try to make everything we do, even with ‘Greatest Love Story,’ we try and make it anthemic,” Brandon says. “In our live show, we try to bring people together around these common things that everyone is going through. The record is eclectic, but I think we make more sense when people hear the record.”
