When you are a big time country star like Kane Brown, it can be hard to find the time to truly get away from it all with your partner. But as any young and busy celebrity couple knows, it’s extremely important to have some special time together before the often-grueling touring season begins.
During a recent trip to Colorado, Kane and his fiancée Katelyn Jae did just that.
The adorable couple shared a number of pics throughout the weekend of Jan. 26-28 showing them having fun amid the picturesque mountains and gorgeous countryside.
While Kane now prepares to get back on the road as an opener for Chris Young’s “Losing Sleep Tour,” he seems to be in a very good place, thanks to Katelyn.
“She honestly keeps my day bright,” Kane said lovingly during a recent interview with Rare Country. “Always having someone you love right there … she has made me love this job.”
Indeed, Kane says there was a period when life on the road was downright grueling. “There were times when I wasn’t sure I would be able to do this, but she makes everything better,” he told us. “There is nothing not to be happy about anymore.”
Certainly, with all of this love in the air, Kane must be preparing for an epic Valentine’s Day with his girl, right?
Well, not necessarily.
“I’m the type of person that doesn’t make any plans and doesn’t figure anything out until the day of,” laughed Kane. “I mean, I didn’t get her any gifts for Christmas.”
Wait … what?
“Yep, it was bad,” Kane chuckled. “She was sort of upset on Christmas, but I made up for it on the day after Christmas and she ended up loving it. I told her that it made Christmas last longer.”
Clearly that these two don’t hold a grudge very long, and they certainly look like they have a good time together pretty much all the time.
“Finding old videos on my phone are the best,” Kane wrote on his Instagram on Jan. 31, alongside a dance video of him and Katelyn in their home around Christmas time.
These two have plenty to celebrate at the moment. Recently, Kane’s Gold-certified, self-titled debut album achieved No. 1 on the “Billboard” Top Country Albums Chart, marking the album’s third consecutive week at No. 1 in 2018 and fifth week atop the chart since its release. In addition, Kane’s No. 1 hit, “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina, has been certified double-Platinum by the RIAA, with more than 253 million audio and video streams to date. And his current single, “Heaven,” is currently climbing the charts.
