As college football season approaches, a major battle is brewing in Jason Aldean’s household. The country superstar and his wife, Brittany, are expecting their first child together later this year, but they root for different college football teams. Jason is a diehard Georgia Bulldogs fan, and Brittany goes for Alabama.

As any football-crazed family knows, living in a house where mom and dad pull for different teams leads to a tough decision for their kids. The parents often resort to crazy tactics to recruit their kids as fans for their respective team, and Jason and Brittany are no different.

Jason tells Rare Country, “My wife graduated from Alabama, so she’s got it in her head that this kid’s gonna root for Alabama. I’ve waited a long time to have a son. There’s no way he’s gonna be an Alabama fan. I got news for you.”

So far, Jason and Brittany are playing fair with their recruiting tactics. She even got Jason some Georgia-themed gear for the baby boy this past Father’s Day.

Says Jason, “Right now, he’s got a bunch of Georgia jerseys and matching Jordans — red and black Jordans. He’s set for football season. He’ll be a little young to get it for the next couple of years, but at least he’ll be looking good.”
