Carrie Underwood, along with a group of fabulous country ladies, delivered a smashing performance at the fourth annual “ACM Party for a Cause” on April 1.
“I would like to invite some of my friends up onstage, and we’re going to do this next song together,” Carrie told the crowd. “Come out ladies.”
Bringing up a few of her best girlfriends to the stage, Carrie welcomed Kellie Pickler, Jana Kramer, Lauren Alaina and Kelleigh Bannen with warm hugs, and together they formed an alliance by launching into Carrie’s sassy, man-bashing No. 1 hit, “Before He Cheats.”
Making assumptions about the so-called bad guy, the glitter-clad girl squad danced across the stage floor, and of course, the crowd went wild.
Carrie headlined that event, which was one in a handful of other evens leading up to the 51st annual ACM Awards. Dubbed “ACM Women of Country Night,” that performance made for an unforgettable grand finale. “ACM Party for A Cause” is the charitable portion of the ACM Awards, which benefits the community by raising funds for musical therapy and education programs.
Carrie is currently on the road playing sold-out shows for her Storyteller Tour. She will also be joining Keith Urban during the winter for a string of concert dates during his 2016 Ripcord World Tour.
