Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley just cowrote a killer, honky-tonk tune for British country fans YouTube

Not only do country stars Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley have co-hosting chemistry, but they can also cowrite, too!

On March 31, the country crooners’ combined their talents on “The Late Late Show — With James Corden.” The two pals, along with the late night show emcee, strolled onto the stage garbed in costumes. James sported some King cloth, while Luke was dressed as a Queen’s guard and Dierks resembled Sherlock Holmes.

“Now, my beloved Britain has been a leader in nearly every genre of music,” says James. “However, there is one genre that’s never quite made its way across the pond, and that is country music.”

Relying heavily on dierks and Luke’s  skills to provide the U.K. with a taste of the genre, James goes on to tell the audience that the boys have penned “Britain’s first-ever country music hit.”

Of course, neither Luke nor Dierks had to work very hard to pull off this song. Dousing the tune with a string of stereotypical words like cheerio, rugby and bollocks, the country artists admitted to Googling “British stuff” in order to come up with the lyrics.

While this little ditty probably won’t become a hit in the U.K., Luke and Dierks are sure to be a hit when they take the stage at the 51st annual ACM Awards, which will air live on Sunday. April 3, 2016, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
