Even if you are the most seasoned of veterans in country music, chances are you are going to experience a little bit of trepidation and fear about performing on a live awards show. So it comes to no surprise that Kane Brown, who performed for the first time at “The 51st Annual CMA Awards” on Nov. 8 alongside host Brad Paisley, would be a tad hesitant.
“Sorry for my language but @BradPaisley is the shit and one of the best guys I’ve ever met,” Kane said in a late night tweet after the awards show. “Tonight was awesome, but scary as hell at the same time! Thank you so much, man.”

Luckily for Kane, the crowd seemed to love his performance of “Heaven South” with Brad. And even more so, Kane seemed to love his night that he got to spend alongside his darling fiancée, Katelyn. “2017 CMAs with my babe,” he wrote in a Nov. 8 Instagram post alongside a pic of him kissing his love.

Katelyn even shared a pic from the night before, when the couple attended the BMI Country Awards looking happy and thrilled with what life is handing them at the moment.
