Chris Young and Cassadee Pope are getting a lot of mileage off their hit duet, “Think of You.” They’ve even landed a slot to sing on the ACM Awards, but it’ll be hard to top this high-flying performance of this song.

Chris and Cassadee recently teamed up with Southwest Airlines to perform “Think of You” live from 35,000 feet as part of the carrier’s Live at 35 series. This particular flight celebrated Southwest’s 30th anniversary in Tennessee, and the plane, named “Tennessee One,” was painted with the three stars of the state flag.

Chris joked that singing on a moving airplane was a lot harder than singing on a stationary stage.

Here’s hoping Chris and Cassadee create an ever bigger moment on the ACM Awards Sunday, April 3 on CBS.

“Think of You” is the latest single from Chris’ current album, “I’m Comin’ Over.” We recently caught up with Chris to talk about why he wanted Cassadee as his duet partner on “Think of You.”

He says of recording with Cassadee, “It was just cool being in the same room with her and really hearing our voices work together and hearing some of the stuff that she does. She’s just a phenomenal singer.”
