It was a good night of country music. This year?s CMA Awards showcased some of the finest new talents and highlighted some of the legendary greats that have paved their way. True blue country fans are bursting with pride, but could anyone be as proud as Carrie Underwood?s husband, Mike Fisher?

Maybe. But do they have the Barbie doll?

Hanging out backstage while Carrie was busy with her co-hosting gig, Mike got a quick pic by her dressing room door. The handsome retired hockey star wrote, ?Proud of this woman!! So much hard work the last little while! She and @bradpaisley killed it again! #cmaawards #carriedoll #lockedout?

Carrie and Brad did a terrific job of co-hosting, but one of the most commanding performances of the evening was Carrie?s alone as she performed the gospel great ?Softly and Tenderly? during the memorial segment.

And Mike was just as captivated and moved as the rest of us. He shared another photo of his wife during that performance and said, ?Hard to put words to this moment last night. I?ve seen her perform countless times but this one may be my favorite all time. So much meaning behind it and you could feel the Lord?s presence!#softlyandtenderly #cmaawards #neverforget?

Wow. Just wow.

Wait … did he say he was locked out? Oh well … glam takes up a lot of space!
