Country music fans in attendance at Friday night’s ACM Party For A Cause kickoff in Las Vegas, Nevada, got a surprise treat when one of the most written about artists of the last year made a surprise appearance.

During headliner Carrie Underwood’s set, Miranda Lambert made a guest appearance to perform her 2014 hit “Somethin’ Bad,” much to the delight of the thousands of country fans in attendance.

Underwood joined Lambert for a blistering hot performance of the song that has become a rare moment in the last few years.

When Lambert’s “Platinum” album was released in 2014, she followed up with several performances with Underwood, including the 2014 CMA Awards and 2014 Billboard Awards.

Though Lambert wasn’t an official performer at the 2016 ACM Party For a Cause, she was in Las Vegas for the 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards. Both Underwood and Lambert are nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.
