Troy’s bandmate, Eddie Montgomery, and the entire MG team have come up with a beautiful way to honor their late brother — by immortalizing his legacy in their latest lyric video for “Better Me.”

It’s hard to fight back tears watching this video.

Both concert and personal photos of Troy flood the clip as the duo sings, “I ain’t saying I’m perfect, but I’m working on a better me.”

It didn’t get much better than Troy. He was a great man, and his loss is still deeply felt in Nashville.

“Better Me” is part of the duo’s new album. No details have been revealed regarding that album’s potential release date.

Our continued prayers are with Troy’s family and friends, as well as Eddie, his family and the entire Montgomery Gentry community.
