Country music superstar Luke Bryan has released the lyric video for his current fast-rising single, “Light It Up,” and we can’t get enough of its clever graphics.

The clip, which features a pink phone getting countless text messages from the singer, has the singer crooning to a fictional love interest in the wake of a heated argument. He hangs by his cell phone and hopelessly waits to hear back from the girl he’s obsessing over.

“I get so neurotic about it baby / Cause I know you’re reading your phone / I can’t help from going crazy / Thinking you might not be all alone / I wake up / I check it / I shower and I check it / I feel the buzz in my truck / and I almost wreck it,” Luke sings in the tune he co-wrote with Old Dominion’s Brad Tursi.

Turns out that the two actually penned “Light It Up” in Luke’s brand new music room inside his freshly built house just outside of Nashville.

“We christened the new songwriting room by writing ‘Light It Up,’” Luke explained in a Facebook Live chat before revealing that a certain NBA star he didn’t name will be featured in the actual music video.

“Light It Up” is the first single from Luke’s upcoming sixth studio album, “What Makes You Country.” The 15-track album is due out Dec. 8.
