There have always been many sides of Kane Brown, but perhaps one of his best sides is the one in which he shows his heart. And he is certainly showing that tender heart in the new video for his song “Heaven.” The song is featured on the new deluxe version of his debut album, and includes such sweet lyrics such as “Everybody’s talking about heaven like they just can’t wait to go” and “I don’t know how heaven could be better than this.”

You can hear the love in Kane’s voice, as if the viral sensation turned country music star is singing it directly to his soon-to-be wife, Katelyn Jae.

Both the song and the accompanying video were released on Oct. 6. The video features Kane singing the subdued song in a candlelit room, letting his ultra-smooth voice lead the way.

Perhaps in no other week has the country music community needed that smooth voice than this one, as many continue to grapple with the aftereffects of the Oct. 1 shooting in Las Vegas, which killed nearly 60 people and injured more than 500. In fact, Kane was on hand at the music festival where it happened, the Route 91 Harvest Festival, performing just hours before headliner Jason Aldean. Reports say that he had left the festival just 15 minutes before the shootings took place.
