God forbid anyone’s ever cheated on you. But, if they have, chances are the news left you both crushed and confused. Perhaps you thought the two of you would live forever, but when the truth came out you decided to call it quits.

Unfortunately, that’s a situation that happens to many of us. And, Meghan Linsey brings the painful scenario to life in her powerful, new music video for her song, “Mr. Homewrecker.”

In this clip, posted to Meghan’s Facebook page, the former Steel Magnolia member and Season 8 “The Voice” runner-up, dons a vintage corset, and black-colored robe. She lies down in a bathtub with a look of agony spread across her face, and regretfully recalls how she didn’t pick up on the clues that her former lover was unfaithful. Toward the end of the ballad, she lets the water from the shower drown her tears away, and steps out of the tub.

“ 💔 Raw and emotional. This video is for anyone who’s ever had a broken heart ,” Meghan captions the heart wrenching clip.

Meghan recently revealed that she worked with director Jeremy Ryan to come up with the concept for the music video.

“We both agreed that it should be super simple and gritty. I wanted it to feel like you were watching someone on the worst day of their life having a breakdown in the bathroom,” she said, as reported by Nashville.com. “I particularly love the end when my character wiped the mascara from under her eyes and gets back up. I feel like women will really be able to relate to the symbolism.”

“Mr. Homewrecker” is the first single from Meghan’s independently released studio album, “Bold Like a Lion,” which dropped Nov. 3.
