He’s a mainstay in country music, loved as much for his quick wit and integrity as for his insane musical talent. Brad Paisley is an award-winning singer, songwriter and musician, and one of the nicest guys kicking around country music. And we’re just touching the tip of this musical mountain when we list the Top 5 things we love about Brad in Rare Country’s 5.

One of the things that all of Music Row loves the most about Mr. Paisley is his incredible guitar prowess. Two of the three Grammy Awards Brad has earned were for his instrumental work, and in 2002 was the recipient of the Orville H. Gibson Guitar Award for Best Country Guitarist.

And yes, while Music Row adores this incredible picker, he hasn’t gone unnoticed by Rock ’n’ Roll and Hollywood, either. Brad opened for the Rolling Stones in Nashville in 2016, and he’s written and played on songs for the Pixar animated franchise, “Cars.”

Often compared to funny man Roger Miller, Brad’s sense of humor is another one of his strong points. It first became apparent in songs like “Me Neither,” from his debut album, “Who Needs Pictures.” On his sophomore album, “Part II,” Brad included the hilarious “I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song).” He also included his then girlfriend, now wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, in the giggle-worthy video.

We only have time for five things we love about Brad Paisley in this Rare Country’s 5, but there are so many more. Be sure to share what some of your favorite things are about this native West Virginian and, who knows. Maybe, much like his second album, there will be a “Part II.”

And be sure to check in later this week when we have more of the news and fun from in and around country music in Rare Country’s 5.
