The new Ole Red is located near the Horseshoe Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road. The approximately 27,000-square-foot venue is expected to have seating for 686 guests, making it the largest Ole Red franchise. The other Ole Red franchises are located in Shelton’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma; in downtown Nashville; at Nashville Airport; in Gatlinburg, Tennessee; and in Orlando, Florida.

According to a press release issued in early 2023, Ole Red’s Las Vegas location will feature four stories and will include dining areas, dance floors, concert stages, VIP areas, and bars. The rooftop will offer a great view of the Vegas Strip, a feature a special menu, a luxurious lounge, and a space for private events.

“If you are going to do something here, you’ve got to do it big,” Shelton said in a statement. “Every time I’m in Vegas, I want some country music and Ole Red is the remedy for that.”

Ole Red was named after Shelton’s 2002 hit “Ol’ Red,” which peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and has become one of the country star’s most popular tunes. He opened the chain in partnership with Ryman Hospitality Properties, which runs the Grand Ole Opry.

Shortly after the new venue is scheduled to open, Shelton will hit the road on a new leg of his Back to the Honky Tonk Tour. The 2024 trek leg will kick off with a February 22 concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and is scheduled through a March 29 show in Wichita, Kansas. Shelton has tapped fellow country star Dustin Lynch and rising voice Emily Ann Roberts to join him on the tour.
