Ugh, wedding crashers! Typically, these uninvited guests are committing the worst social faux pas there is. Martha Stewart would lose her wig if she planned a wedding and an unexpected guest arrived, right?

But in the case of one Wisconsin couple, a trio of wedding crashers turned out to be the best gift ever.

RELATED:

As sweet Sara and Brandon McInnis tied the knot in their June 24 nuptials, Rascal Flatts was making their way to Oshkosh to bestow a special gift upon the newlyweds. With the deejay cued up to play the trio’s “Bless the Broken Road,” for the couple’s first dance, Gary, Joe Don and Jay strolled into the reception, a beautiful rustic barn, to perform the song live.

It still gives us goose bumps to hear the shouts of surprise, and to see Sara wipe tears from her cheeks, but the goose bumps get goose bumps when you watch that magical dance.

Sigh.

But heck, those big-hearted boys didn’t stop there. They hung out with the bride and groom and their families for a while, even taking pictures and signing autographs for all of the guests.

And props to the bride and groom’s friend, Tammy, who made the whole surprise happen after she found out that the band was performing a show nearby at the Country USA festival. She’ll never be able to top this wedding gift.

There’s nothing like a country fan, or the country stars who love them!

The Flatts surprise is one of the nominees for Fan Moment of the Year at the Rare Country Awards. It’s now up to you to decide the winner at RareCountryAwards.com.
