“America’s Got Talent” fans were in awe this past season as singing ventriloquist Darci Lynne Farmer was able to sing better with her mouth closed than most of us can sing period. This was especially seen during the show’s finale, as she joined famed ventriloquist Terry Fator on the song “Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better.)”

But recently, fans realized that the “AGT” season 12 winner can still sing without a puppet in her hand when they caught a listen of Darci’s amazing voice.

The performance occurred on Oct. 15, when the 12-year-old Oklahoma native had the chance to sing the national anthem at Taft Stadium.

While the performance showcased her amazing voice, it was a bit jarring to see her without her trusty characters by her side. Yet, it further cemented in everyone’s minds what a talent she is at such a young age.
