Besides bringing the United States a great tour filled with hit country songs, explosive energy and high dollar entertainment, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill have given us some pretty special moments on the “Soul2Soul World Tour.” Some have happened backstage as Tim and their different show openers perform acoustic versions of hit songs. Others have taken place onstage, sometimes between Faith and Tim and sometimes between the separate superstars and their fans.
Folks in Indiana got their own personal moment when Tim McGraw and his band honored one of the state’s most famous Hoosiers, John Mellencamp. (John went by the name Johnny Cougar early in his career, thus our headline. See what we did there?!)
In a video on his Instagram page, you can hear Tim’s incredible band clapping out the infectious rhythm of Mellencamp’s 1981 single, “Ain’t Even Done with the Night,” as Tim rips through the chorus of the epic hit. And it’s so good, and so sexy, we just can’t.
It’s pretty hard to believe that Tim and Faith are rolling into their final weekends on the crazy popular “Soul2Soul: The World Tour.” It seems like we just announced that one of country music’s sexiest couples would trek the United States together again. The last time the smokin’ couple toured together was in 2007, and since then it seems they’ve only gotten hotter.
You do still have a few chances to see Faith and Tim together, though. The tour continues into October, and some of the great opening acts they have coming up are: Eric Paslay, Brandy Clark, Cam, Chris Janson, Steve Moakler, LOCASH and the amazing Margo Price.
After October 27, well, there’s always time to subscribe to Showtime in time for “Tim and Faith: Soul2Soul”—the concert special shot during their spectacular tour, from rehearsals to production. It airs on November 17.
Can we suggest “Soul2Soul” viewing parties? Maybe dress like the respective superstars from your favorite point of their career and serve tasty treats from Mississippi and Louisiana. Oh, and karaoke your favorite Faith and Tim tunes! Oh yeah … this could be fun.
