It was Luke like you’ve never heard him before.

Dressed in a sharp, black suit with a dark gray shirt, Luke reverently and soulfully delivered the iconic holiday song accompanied by an orchestra with a beautiful snowy backdrop.

It was pretty perfect, guys … and a great reminder that if you thought Luke was all tailgates and tanlines, you were so wrong.

Luke’s buddies discovery, long brother act CB30, also performed as part of the big night, along with Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Dustin Lynch, Brett Eldredge, Dan + Shay, Lady Antebellum, Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, Chris Young, CeCe Winans and host Reba McEntire. When cameras weren’t rolling during the show’s mid-November taping, Luke joked to Reba that he got his sharp suit at Walmart “on layaway.” More details on that and nine other behind-the-scenes moments you didn’t see on TV can be found here.
