The aspiring country singer, who made quite an impression August 16 when she sang the national anthem before a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race and the video of the performance went viral, has been singing her songs for a while, but just recently began getting some major attention for her incredible voice. “I just travel around playing my guitar,” Dawn said to her fans in a August 20 Facebook Live, updating them on future gigs that she has scheduled in Minnesota and Florida as well as singing some more for her followers.
