Bryce Mauldin has been taking the internet world by storm with his impressive musical talents and country cover songs.
Although he didn’t have formal vocal training, he’s been growing his fan base, and has earned more than 152,000 views on a recent video.
The 20-year-old viral sensation took to Facebook on July 12, to share his version of Tim McGraw’s 1999 hit song “My Best Friend.” The song, which appears on Tim’s fifth studio album, “A Place in the Sun,” was performed by request after one of Bryce’s fans lost a loved one.
“Hope you enjoy this cover and it brings you some peace ❤️,” Bryce wrote alongside the clip, which shows him gently strumming his acoustic guitar and belting out the ballad from the top of his country lungs. Fans also get a glimpse into the talented singer’s home, as portraits are arranged nicely on a piano in the background.
But it turns out that Bryce, who has been living in Florida, recently packed his bags for Nashville to chase his dreams after his family urged him to pursue a career in country music. In a July 16 Facebook post he wrote, “Well, I said my final goodbyes today to my parents, sister, and (said them a long time ago to my brother). I am now a Nashville, TN resident. It’s hard to leave your family and hometown, but I’m ready to see God’s plans for me.”
If we had to guess, we’d say he’s got big, big plans!
