It’s hard to not be blown away by Darci Lynne Farmer. At 13, she swept “America’s Got Talent” with her ventriloquism act that had her utilizing a menagerie of puppets to showcase her quick wit and incredible vocals.

As country music fans, we fell off the deep end when we found YouTube video of the petite blonde throwing her beautiful soprano into a puppet to perform the Patsy Montana classic “I Want To Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart,” complete with yodels. But this young girl’s talent goes much deeper than that.

After her “AGT” win, Darci and her puppet friends from the show won an opportunity to perform at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, where fans got another look at the diversity and vast talent of this young lady.

Pulling a fan favorite, Petunia the bunny, from her case, Darci asked her puppet what she would like to do for her segment of the show. “I thought it would be nice to do some Italian opera,” Petunia replies.

Now, our knowledge is definitely more Opry than opera, but we know enough to know that it is one of the most difficult types of vocal performance to master. So imagine doing it with your mouth mostly closed while you have a hairy puppet on your arm.

It sounds like a lot to us, but this competent teen seemed unfazed as she launched into an aria, via Petunia of course. And the crowd went wild.

Like, World Series wild!

There’s no word on what is next for Darci Lynne, Petunia, Oscar and the rest of the team, but we can’t wait to see what her future holds.
