One’s wedding day is a day of love, memories and special moments for a bride and groom. Yet, it’s those moments between the bride and her father that just might be the ones that bring on the most tears.

Just ask Julie Norton and her father, Scott Finkel.

Julie married the love of her life on June 11, but it was the dance with her father that day that people are still talking about. Scott was born deaf, so when it came time for the father-daughter dance, Julie knew that her dad would not be able to fully experience the lyrics to their dance, which happened to be Rascal Flatts’ 2006 hit “My Wish.”

As the song began to play, a previously taped video came up on the big screen showing Julie signing each and every word of the tearjerker of the song.

“My dad is really proud of me,” Julie recently told “The Huffington Post.” “I saw it in his eyes during our dance, and I can see it when he talks about it. A wedding is supposed to be a bride’s special day, and I wanted to share that with my parents.”
