Dolly Parton is undoubtedly one of country music’s biggest artists. So, it comes as no surprise that she has inspired people from all walks of life.

For example, the icon—whose career spans more than five decades—helped influence other female singers to chase their dreams. She’s also been the inspiration for many impersonators who have copied her signature looks to a T.

That’s not all though. Dolly’s appearance and charm have now given Nashville-based artist Sydney Clawson inspiration to draw a stunning creation on canvas.

This amazing time-lapse video posted on Instagram shows how Sydney uses charcoal to sketch a fascinating black-and-white picture of the prolific singer and actress. The magic begins when the insanely talented visual artist starts re-creating the icon’s bouffant hair on the empty canvas. She then moves onto the “Coat of Many Colors” singer’s eyes and nose before adding her lips. Then she shades in all of the details and adds a little bit of texture before her work is done.

The end result of Sydney’s labor is nothing short of a masterpiece!

This, of course, isn’t Sydney’s first shot at drawing a celebrity photo. She has drawn numerous iconic artists including Willie Nelson, Marilyn Monroe, Merle Haggard, Bob Dylan and more. If you love her work as much as we do, you can check it out here.
