Even though Thomas Rhett has made many national television appearances by now, including performing on the “Today” show, it’s still a big deal. Ask daughter Willa.

When T-Rhett was recently in the Big Apple to make a repeat performance on “Today,” he took the whole family—Lauren, Willa Gray, Ada James, and even Lauren’s sister, the extremely gorgeous and helpful Macy. And while he was shooting his segments, the family watched him on TV back in the room.

And it looks like something clicked. Willa seems to realize that her dad isn’t like most other dads … like, maybe he has a pretty neato job.

In Lauren’s Instagram Story, shared by radio station US99, Willa, who miraculously seems to have become even cuter, is seen playing with a pair of socks while her picture flashes on the TV screen in front of her. Unimpressed with her own image, she lights up when Thomas Rhett appears onscreen and seems completely mesmerized as he sings.

But honestly, we were, too. He was great!

We can’t help but notice, too, that at the beginning of Lauren’s InstaStory, Willa is cradling her baby sister in her arms. When Ada was first born, there was a learning curve as Willa learned the meaning of “gentle” with her newborn sis. After a rocky start though, this looks like love.

Of course, superstardom didn’t last too long for Thomas Rhett. Following his ginormous national television appearance, he was back to being a dad with a fussy baby. In his own Instagram video, after what sounds like a rough morning, he did get his youngest calmed down just in time to realize his Starbucks cup was just beyond his reach.
