Have you ever seen an entertainer get a golden ticket, the opportunity of a lifetime to perform on national television, then totally botch it? We have, too. But that wasn’t Thomas Rhett during his appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

In fact, we’d call T-Rhett’s performance downright “Unforgettable.”

If you follow the talented and handsome young superstar on social media, it’s more than obvious that he loves his life, his wife Lauren and his precious daughters. But to see him put it all on display singing his new single on live television is next-level goose bump inducing.

Thomas co-wrote “Unforgettable” with Jesse Frasure, Ashley Gorley and Shane McAnally, so any of the guys could have contributed lines about the respective loves of their lives, and that’s equally cool. But seeing T-Rhett absolutely nail the song under those hot stage lights and in front of an intimate studio audience … well, we just can’t help but think he was focusing on Lauren. Look at that smile!

From the time he was a long-haired country boy in a ball cap just getting his songwriting legs under him, to being a handsome husband, father, philanthropist and consistent hitmaker, scoring his eighth chart topper with “Craving You,” Thomas Rhett has proven to be one of most hardworking and deserving stars in country music.

“Unforgettable” is the second single from Thomas Rhett’s new album, “Life Changes,” which drops on September 8. And it’s looking like it will follow the same trajectory as the first single from the project, “Craving You.”

Here’s to his 9th No. 1!
