It’s pretty obvious we’ve been obsessed with Willa Gray Akins since she arrived from Uganda in May. And after that, our obsession enveloped sister Ada James Akins in August as soon as she was born. But before that it was just Thomas Rhett and Lauren.

And even back then, the obsession was real.

Now this beloved couple, who ooze as much inner beauty as physical, is celebrating their fifth anniversary, and T-Rhett sums up the evolution of the relationship in a wonderfully open Instagram post.

Along with a sweet and casual family portrait, Thomas writes, “Five years of marriage with this beautiful woman. A lot has changed since our last anniversary. We have cried a little but have laughed and loved harder than we ever have. Love you baby! Here’s to so many more. You + me😍”

Lauren took us all back to their wedding day with her Instagram post that expressed her excitement for the future.

That isn’t all the family is celebrating. It seems that in the blink of an eye, Miss Ada has turned two-months-old!

Also, happy 2 months to this precious little 🎃

At the same time, hit country singer-songwriter (and Ada and Willa’s Grampy) Rhett Akins is celebrating his birthday, too! While Rhett is slightly older than two months, we have to echo what so many Instagram readers are saying, he looks more like Thomas Rhett’s brother than his father!

Happy birthday dad! Wish I could be home to hang with you today. I love you very much! @officialrhettakins

Of course, we don’t want Willa to be left out, so we’re going to celebrate her just being so dang cute it makes our hearts twinkle.

Congratulations to the whole Akins tribe!
