Miley Cyrus didn’t exactly throw a “Party In The U.S.A.” on the eve her brand new album release.
Instead, she spent the night snuggling up with her mama, Tish, as the two counted down the hours until her sixth album “Younger Now” became available at midnight on Sept. 29.
“Just dropped down in Nashville. [I’m] cuddling with my mom,” Miley says in a video that was posted to her Instagram page on Sept. 28. “What else are you supposed to do the night that your album’s coming out?”
“I am so punk. This is kind of whack,” she continues. “But there’s no one I’d rather spend my album-release night with than my mom.”
As you can see in the clip above, both Miley and Tish don similar hairstyles, and sport comfy grey sweaters. Mama Tish wraps her arms around her baby girl, while Miley holds up the camera to show just how much she loves mother/daughter time.”
“Album release night well spent … in Nashville … in bed … cuddling … with my mom. #YoungerNow,” she captioned.
Too sweet, y’all!
Snuggles aside, Miley made sure to share her celebratory moment with her fans, too. Not only did she pre-game the release of “Younger Now” in a first-ever livestream, but she also threw a Spotify album release party at the famed Tooties Orchard Lounge in Music City. Check out some of footage from the release party below.
“Younger Now” is now available everywhere.
