Sometimes the audience at a country concert is so loud you almost can’t hear the music. Fans are singing, screaming and having all kinds of fun. But when Luke Bryan is in Boone, Iowa, later in September, he may want it a bit more quiet so he can hear his 13-year-old fan, Max, say his name.

See, Max just learned how to say “Luke.”

Des Moines CBS affiliate KCCI reported that Max has apraxia—a condition that makes it difficult for the young man to express some sounds like the hard “K” in Luke. But Max is a big Luke Bryan fan, and with the motivator that the country star was performing near him, he spent the summer working on saying Luke’s name.

OK, Max buddy, you got the name down, now let’s hope you get to meet Luke and show off those new skills yourself.

The show in Boone is part of Luke’s annual “Farm Tour,” which this year includes country boy Jon Pardi. We know from experience that “Farm Tour” shows are next level loud and crazy, so maybe Max should carry a poster to get his favorite star’s attention, too.
