There are certainly enough country music babies still in the womb right now that some could become friends and make one heckuva band … when they get a little older. But some of these tots may not have to look past their family to find their new band mate. Like Casey James’ little girl, Lexi.

Casey and his beautiful wife, Kelli, are expecting their second little one, but Big Sister is getting a head start on the band.

In a video Casey shares on his Instagram page, Lexi appears to be doing a soundcheck in the family’s kitchen. Of course, her microphone isn’t plugged in and there is no actual band, but she exhibits some impressive vocal gymnastics and even more impressive Mick Jagger-esque choreography. As Casey remarks, “Rock pose.”

Free show at the James' house. ☺️The face she makes when I sing..😂 #rockpose #daughter

This pretty little posey has actually been studying her daddy’s work, so she may actually be a future superstar. And, as they say, it’s never too early to start!

Casey and Kelli are pretty protective of their private life, and with as crazy as the world is, we respect them for that. But we are anxious for them to welcome Lexi’s brother or sister and to hear them making a whole lot of new music — or noise — together.

In the meantime, there are plenty of great tunes to enjoy from Pops. Casey released an INCREDIBLE independent album titled “Strip It Down” in June via iTunes, and if you don’t have his 2012 self-titled debut project, just go on and grab it, too. It’s oh-so tasty!
