RaeLynn has been cherishing every moment she has with her husband, Joshua Davis, who recently graduated from United States Army infantry training.
The two reunited ahead of the Fourth of July, and spent their afternoon snuggling in bed together with a look of love spread across their faces.
RaeLynn took to Instagram on June 30, with a photo featuring the couple’s cuddle session, in which they buried themselves underneath a cozy white blanket.
She writes, “My kinda day off. Doing nothing with my favorite person 💜.”
Turns out that being next to her man, and shutting off the rest of the world, are just the things to make RaeLynn’s heart happy.
“All we do is literally just watch Netflix, hang out and go eat,” she tells Rare Country about the days she gets to be around her hubs. “We just want to do nothing and just kind of stare at each other because I miss him so bad.”
While RaeLynn misses her husband when he’s away, she’s got plenty to keep her busy. In fact, she’s currently promoting her latest single “Lonely Call” — a track written about a breakup she and Joshua went through before they got married.
“We dated for like 10 months, and then broke up for a little bit and then got back together,” she explains. “With any breakup it’s hard because they’re your person, your crutch, the person you text right when you wake up and go to bed, and when you land somewhere — all those little things. So when we broke up it was hard.”
“Of course, you want to go back to talking to the person that you love,” she continues. So, he would text me and I would text him. Then finally I was like, ‘I just can’t do this. If we’re going to break it off, we’ve got to break it of at least for a little bit.’” She added, “It’s just funny because now that we’ve come back around and we’re married … I mean we’ve always been happy, but he’s just amazing.”
“Lonely Call” appears on RaeLynn’s No. 1 debut album, “WildHorse.”
