If you’ve seen Cole Swindell’s music video for his 2016 hit “Middle of a Memory,” then you’ve probably thought of it as a heartbreaking tale of two lovers going their separate ways.
In the video, the country crooner and his fictional love interest meet each other at a party. They hit it off and create lasting memories together. But as the story unfolds, the gal ultimately decides to flee the relationship. And, a broken-hearted Cole is left standing solo with a bouquet of roses in one hand and an engagement ring in the other.
Turns out that THAT exact same woman who starred in Cole’s video is now competing for roses and an engagement ring on the latest season of ABC’s “The Bachelor.”
One of Cole’s fans, Olivia Verschage, noticed the beauty while watching an episode of “The Bachelor.” The uncanny resemblance between the blonde in the music video and the blonde on the dating show caught Olivia’s eye. So, she she took to Twitter and tweeted, “Danielle on the @BachelorABC is definitely the girl in ‘Middle of a Memory.’ Confirm? @coleswindell”
Sure enough, Cole confirmed that with the response, “For sure.”
So, who is the mystery girl in Cole’s music video? Well, she’s actually a 31-year-old neonatal nurse by the name of Danielle Maltby.
So, even though Cole wasn’t able to get down on one knee for Danielle in “Middle of a Memory,” someone else just might! Danielle is putting her heart on the line for current bachelor Nick Viall — a software sales executive from Wisconsin.
As for Cole, he may be off the market ladies. Back in September he revealed to CMT host Cody Alan that he was in a relationship with a mystery girl saying, “I don’t talk about it a whole lot. She’s awesome.”
“The Bachelor” airs Monday nights on ABC.
