During a year that has taken away far too many musical legends, fans all gasped when they heard the news that the iconic Steven Tyler announced that he was going to have to cut the Aerosmith tour short due to a health emergency.

“I’m very sorry and feel like I let you down,” he wrote in a Sept. 26 Instagram post. “I won’t be able to continue the last four shows of this tour. I flew back to the U.S. on doctor’s orders last night after the show in São Paulo, [Brazil.] Please not to worry. I am not in a life-threatening condition, but I need to deal with this right away, and get some rest and medical care immediately in order to sustain and maintain my future performances. I promise I’ll be back. Unfortunately, health does not wait and it’s something even I can’t schedule around our shows.”

Since then, fans had yet to see new pics of Steven, who seemed to put concerned fans a bit at ease with a Sept. 30 Instagram update that confirmed that he had not suffered a heart attack or any sort of seizure. But still, fans wondered – how is Steven feeling?

Well, thanks to the pics he shared on Oct. 20, it looks like the music icon is feeling just fine.

“Look what I found in Vancouver’s ((Cabinet of Curiosities)) #KURIOS @cirquedusoleil,” he wrote alongside a pair of pics showing Steven appearing to be back to his old self.

We pray that this is a sign that he will back onstage soon!
