In the days since the death of the Glen Campbell, countless family members, friends and fans have come forward with their tributes to the country legend. Those tributes have come via words, videos and music.

But it’s one tribute that seems to be causing some distress for Glen Campbell’s widow, Kim Campbell.

According to reports, Kim is not too happy with a musical tribute from Glen’s former love, Tanya Tucker, who recently performed her new song “Forever Loving You” on the “Today” show and other media outlets. However, sources close to Kim say that she feels Tanya’s tribute is “callous and disrespectful,” especially since they claim Tanya hasn’t been in close contact with Glen for more than 35 years.

Yet, Tanya’s camp says that the song —which she co-wrote— helps to expand the message about Alzheimer’s disease. At the time of its release, Tanya also said proceeds from the song would benefit the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Whether news of her anger at Tanya is true or not, one thing is for sure – many people are grieving Glen’s death. In fact, on August 25, Kim shared with fans the heartfelt eulogy that she spoke during his recent private memorial service in Nashville. “On the day I lost Glen, I felt like I was in total darkness,” Kim said. “In the weeks since, I’ve been searching for that new light to emerge from the other side.”
