When someone mentions furniture as a gift in a relationship, then you know it’s getting serious … really serious. So when Gwen Stefani stopped by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and told Jimmy she was getting Blake a couch for Christmas, our first thought was, “Oh, they’re on that level now.”

Gwen confessed to Jimmy that Blake isn’t the easiest to shop for when it comes to gifts. “He’s really hard to buy for,” she said, before confessing her gift idea. “He doesn’t fit in any of my furniture at my house, he’s too big,” she said, then revealed that she told Blake, “I’m gonna get you a couch, like, that’s gonna be your Christmas present,” then added. “I’m putting it outside so he can put out fires and stuff like that.”

Blake spends just as much time at Gwen’s place in L.A. as she does in Oklahoma on Blake’s ranch. Obviously, those are two very different worlds, but Gwen does everything in her power to make the transition easy on Blake.

“I try to make him comfortable in L.A.,” she told Jimmy. Sounds like she’s on the right track to us.

But Gwen did say, she wasn’t going too big.

“We’re not gonna do La-Z-Boy at my house,” she said after Jimmy showed a photo of Blake in just such a recliner from his recent People magazine “Sexiest Man Alive” photo shoot.

We’re sure whatever she gets for her sexy man, Blake will love it—he’s all heart. And that’s one of the many things Gwen loves about her “cowboy.”

“It’s interesting because I don’t think any of those things like beauty or sexy or whatever way you want to describe humans is necessarily a physical thing that people are attracted to,” she explained to Jimmy. “It’s all about the heart, and Blake has that big ol’ gigantic heart in there, so he’s quite an attractive human. I’m not the only one that thinks it!”

Gwen’s Christmas TV special, “You Make Me Feel Like Christmas,” airs at 9 p.m. on Dec. 12 on NBC. Blake has already been confirmed to make a guest appearance.
