Miranda Lambert unapologetically does things her way, whether she’s onstage or at home. So celebrating her fella’s birthday meant putting her signature spin on the festivities. It also meant that we were going to be treated to some photos of the somewhat unconventional birthday party.

Anderson turned 30 on July 17, and we’ve already seen that his sweet and gorgeous girlfriend surprised him onstage in Buffalo, New York, with a big chorus of “Happy Birthday.” But that wasn’t all Miranda had planned.

The country music superstar shared a photo collage on her Instagram page of the actual celebration that included a day at Darien Lake Theme Park in Corfu, New York, and, of course, a cake with candles. And while it appears that a good time was had by all, including Anderson’s tour mates Chris Stapleton, Morgane Stapleton and Brent Cobb, Ran’s romantic message turned our giggles to sighs.

She wrote, “Rock & Roll Sundays and No Makeup Mondays. My favorite Bama boy turned 30 today. He owns the stage and he owns my heart. Thanks @andersoneast for inspiring me in so many ways. You are a light that could outshine the sun. I love making memories with you.”

Anderson also shared a photo album on his Instagram page, along with a message of love. “I can’t believe that I get the privilege to live the life that I get to live,” he wrote. “I have the love of an amazing & kind woman, I get to play music that I love & trust & I get to do it with the greatest band and crew ever & I have the love & support of my family. I love being alive — I love having beautiful memories & I am beyond excited about what the future may hold.”

We’re excited about their future, too.
