Stage presence and talent go hand in hand when it comes to being a big-time country music act. And, God knows that Luke Bryan is always utilizing both of those skills.

Surprisingly enough though, the 40-year-old country crooner admits that it’s not always easy to have his voice in tip-top shape when he’s busy getting the crowd amped-up with his sexy dance moves.

“I mean, I’ve had critics at shows. They watch a two-hour show and they bring up four times that I was pitchy,” said Luke during an Oct. 14, appearance on “Kix TV.” “I’m like, ‘Man I challenge anybody to come and watch a two-hour show and have a singer sing it perfectly the whole time.’”

Luke says that the most important part of his shows is seeing his fans are having a blast. And, let’s be honest. Country music fans just want to have a good time, right?

“If I have to go [onstage,] and I have to think about delivering the live vocal performance of the year every night, then I am not going to be having fun up there,” said the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, adding, “When you start honing in on being so perfect up there you sacrifice the enjoyment of it.”

One of Luke’s ultimate family-fun shows is his annual Farm Tour. This year, he made eight stops to farms communities throughout the southern and midwestern parts of the U.S. Luke’s “Bayer Presents Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2016” wrapped on Oct. 15. He capped off the dates by awarding the 50th “Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship” to one lucky, deserving college student.

Luke is currently on the road finishing up his 2016 Kill the Lights Tour. On Oct. 20 he’ll make his way to Houston. From there, he’ll head to Arlington, Texas on Oct. 22. For more information on Luke’s Kill the Lights Tour, visit his official website here.
