“Certainly, I’m in the studio,” Luke recently said, according to ABC Radio Networks. “[I’ve] recorded some stuff, [and am] probably halfway through my project. [I’m] really getting geared up.”

Luke didn’t dish details on what his new material will sound like, but he did say he’s “been writing the past month.” He also said that he’s been deliberately setting aside time for breaks from work since he really hasn’t had much time to take “a breath since I rolled into this town.”

When Luke does complete his next project, it will be the follow up to his 2015 “Kill the Lights” album, which includes a whopping six No. 1 singles. So far, there is no date revealed for when Luke will drop new music, but he did reveal that he’s trying to top the success of “Kill the Lights.”
