Lady Antebellum absolutely fell in love with Puerto Rico when they went there earlier this year to film their “You Look Good” and “Heart Break” videos. The cinematic clip for “Heart Break” was just released, and the images of that gorgeous island are especially tough to watch since Puerto Rico was recently devastated by Hurricane Maria.

Lady A has been watching the news footage coming out of Puerto Rico closely as the island faces a humanitarian crisis. As a result, they’ve pledged $200,000 from their charity organization, LadyAID, to go to the relief efforts in conjunction with the release of their “Heart Break” video.

Lady A’s Hillary’s Scott says, “We are just completely heartbroken to see the devastation. We want to do everything we can to support this incredible place and these incredible people. We just hope and pray for their safety, and that rebuilding happens quickly. We encourage everyone to give whatever they can to help.”

You can give to the ongoing relief effort at LadyAID.org. Proceeds will be funneled through MusiCares and United for Puerto Rico. The band’s Dave Haywood assures that it’s a very worthy use of your money.

“After spending time in San Juan, we fell in love with the area, the culture, the people and that country — it was just a beautiful place,” he says. “Our hearts have been completely broken watching the devastation from all of the hurricanes. We feel personally connected to  helping support those affected.”

“Heart Break” is the title track from Lady A’s latest album, available now.
