Kid Rock’s campaign for the U.S. Senate will have a soundtrack, and we got the first two tracks today.

For country fans, Kid is aiming squarely at the heartland with “Po-Dunk,” a song about unapologetic hillbilly folk with an aggressive video to match. In the clip, Kid delivers the (NSFW) song shirtless standing outside a trailer with footage of pregnant women smoking cigarettes and scantily dressed models firing guns mixed in. There’s even a section featuring rural folks doing belly flops in the mud.

Kid Rock also released a video for a song (also NSFW) called “Greatest Show on Earth,” which includes a teaser for a new tour.

So, what does it all mean for his possible Senate bid? Kid Rock has denied allegations the whole thing is a stunt to promote his music. Instead, Kid says he’ll continue to release music as he campaigns like other politicians release books while campaigning and in office. He would be challenging Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow, who responded to Kid Rock’s potential bid with this tweet.

In a post from his website, Kid wrote back, “Senator Stabenow and I do share a love of music, although probably not the same kind. I concede she is better at playing politics than I am so I’ll keep doing what I do best, which is being a voice for tax paying, hardworking AMERICANS and letting politicians like her know that We the People are sick and tired of their bullshit!”

Kid has about two weeks to file with the SEC if he plans to follow through with his bid for Congress.
