Kelsea Ballerini and her Australian love, Morgan Evans, have tied the knot on a beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

According to “People,” the couple said “I do” in front of friends and family in an oceanside ceremony on Dec. 2. She looked radiant in a simple lace gown designed by Berta. Her long hair was swept back over her ears before falling down her back.

Morgan was decked out in a suit by Joseph Abboud, and their rings were designed by David Yurman and included customized messages to each other inside the bands.

For now, we’ve only seen one photo of the couple made available to “People.” They look so happy in love just under a year after getting engaged last Christmas. The two country singers met when they co-hosted a country music awards show together in Morgan’s native Australia. Their connection was instant, and he made the move to America to be with Kelsea and also pursue his country career here in the States. Morgan’s debut single, “Kiss Somebody,” is available now.

Before they tied the knot, Kelsea and Morgan sat down for an interview with “People.” Morgan admitted he’d been looking for advice on what married life would be like for the two of them.

He says, “In the lead-up to a wedding, you ask a lot of your married friends — especially people that are in similar situations or similar age — ‘Does anything change or is it just the same but a little more awesome?’ Everyone keeps telling us, ‘Ah, it gets better.’ And so whatever that means, I’m looking forward to that, and it’s gonna be fun.”

Kelsea says that she’s looking forward to “everything” about life with Morgan.

She adds, “With our careers, we get to do what we love, then we get to find time to be with who we love. I think that makes for a really full life — when you can do everything that you want, and then share it with someone.”

Rare Country caught up with Morgan before they headed out for the wedding, and he told us he left most of the wedding planning to Kelsea.

Morgan explains, “There’s certain decisions that I feel like a woman is far more capable of making, and a better decision. Kelsea’s got good taste. I’m here, and I’ve been a part of it, but if I was being honest with you, if the wedding was a song, I wouldn’t have written that much of it. But I’d be very proud of it.”

From the looks of that initial photo, it looks like Kelsea’s good taste really paid off.

Congratulations, you two!

Of note, Kelsea is nominated for Rare Country Awards Female Artist of the Year. Fan voting is open through Dec. 13 at RareCountryAwards.com. Winners will be revealed during a livestreamed concert event November 14 in Nashville.
