One of the things we love most about Kelly Clarkson is her omnipresent positive spirit. She seems to always be smiling and happy, and appears to have the best attitude about everything. Heck, even when her Los Angeles house was broken into, Kelly was able to find perspective on the situation.

Yep! Kelly has been busy on a media tour to promote her newest album, “Meaning of Life.” Among her stops have been visits with James Corden for a little “Carpool Karaoke,” and receiving the Powerhouse Award at Billboard’s Women in Music event.

But then, someone broke into her house.

In an interview with “Extra’s” Renee Bargh, Kelly revealed the details. “Yeah, it was crazy, we got here and our whole house was, like, bashed in.”

Kelly confirmed that no one was at home at the time of the burglary, and while she didn’t specify whether anything of value was taken, she does add, “Materialistic things we didn’t care about. The guy was in our kid’s room … so it was a little weird. Other than that, everyone is safe and good.”

And that unflappable Kelly Clarkson spirit continues. “Other than that little hiccup, everything has been really great in our lives, and we’re very blessed and grateful,” she said. “Even in that scenario we weren’t in the house, which is a blessing.”

What a relief. And what an incredible amount of perspective.
